FAIR's Annual Conference, August 2012
For those who might be unaware of it, the annual conference of the Foundation for Apologetic Information and Research (FAIR) will be held this year on 2-3 August, at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah.
Information about the program, and about registration for the conference, can be found at
http://www.fairlds.org/fair-conferences/2012-fair-conference/conf12a
There will be presentations on topics relating to directions in the Book of Mormon, gender and homosexuality, Mormon de-conversion narratives, the lost 116 manuscript pages, religious liberty, textual questions relating to the Book of Mormon, race, early Mormon plural marriage, DNA and the Book of Mormon, the Book of Abraham, and etc.
All this good stuff will be followed by the same blithering idiot who normally concludes the program. He's scheduled, yet again, to blather on and on and on in a meandering address late on Friday afternoon, thus -- in FAIR's typically cunning fashion -- once more making the end of such an interesting conference far easier for the audience to bear.
